Australian Natives dominate the landscape here, and they are well known for pushing out new growth several times throughout the year. Over the last year I counted about half a dozen growth spurts on a Melaleuca tree I have in my garden, thats crazy ramification if you stay on top of your pruning. On the downside, if you can’t keep up with the growth it can throw the whole composition out and you may end up with elongated growth where you don’t necessarily need it. Stay vigilant during the growing season our natives are strong!
